West Brom vs Derby prediction

West Bromwich Albion come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena the other day due to early goals in each half from Jack Rudoni and Matt Grimes, whilst Hungary international Callum Styles was also sent off. They have now endured four defeats in their last five matches in the Championship.

The appointment of Blackburn Rovers boss John Eustace sparked an almost immediate major improvement in Derby County’s form and they do remain outside of the bottom three and the relegation places ahead of this match day. However, their crucial 1-0 loss at home to fellow strugglers Luton Town on Friday means they are now winless in their last four matches.

Neither side possess much form or confidence ahead of this crucial showdown at The Hawthorns and it could well be that a nervy affair produces very few goals in West Bromwich.

West Brom vs Derby tip: Under 2.5 goals
