Viktoria Plzen vs Panathinaikos prediction

The first-leg of this tie saw Viktoria Plzen take the lead early on via Denis Visinsky before an Andrews Tetteh brace put Panathinaikos ahead. Tomas Ladra then earned the Czechs parity to take back to Plzen for this second-leg.

Viktoria Plzen shared a goalless draw with Sparta Prague at the weekend to extend their unbeaten run of form to nine matches across all competitions. Rafa Benitez, on the other hand, is under pressure in Athens, with Panathinaikos having managed just three wins in 11 matches with their 2-0 victory away from home against OFI Crete at the weekend.

Panathinaikos head to Plzen on the back of some poor form and, with no home advantage or goal advantage, the Czechs have to be seen as slight favourites here.

Viktoria Plzen vs Panathinaikos tip: Double chance – Viktoria Plzen to win or draw
