Valencia preview: Under pressure Los Che

Former West Bromwich Albion manager Carlos Corberan remains in the hot seat at Mestalla, despite heavy criticism from local press. Valencia have been circling the drain for a while now in La Liga and they are in yet another relegation battle.

The Valencians come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal in a regional derby at El Madrigal last weekend, having taken a 27th minute lead via a Large Ramazani penalty and then been behind by half-time.

Osasuna preview: European push

Osasuna, with former Mirandes coach Alessio Lisci at the helm, have transformed themselves from a fairly dull watch into one of the more entertaining teams in the league in the space of just a couple of months.

The Pamplona-based outfit continued their good form and push for European football next season with an impressive and well deserved 2-1 defeat of Real Madrid at El Sadar last weekend.

Valencia team news: Defensive injuries

Valencia have plenty of defensive injury issues at the moment with goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala still a doubt and the likes of Mouctar Diakhaby, Juan Manuel Copete and Dimitri Foulquier confirmed absentees.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Dimitrievski; Unai Nunez, Cumart, Carlos Tarrega, Jose Luis Gaya; Ramazani, Ugrinic, Rodriguez, Luis Rioja; Javi Guerra, Sadiq

Unavailable: Ruben Iranzo (Injured), Diakhaby (Injured), Copete (Injured), Foulquier (Injured)

Questionable: Julen Agirrezabala (Injured), Lucas Beltran (Injured), Diego Lopez (Injured)

Osasuna team news: Aimar Oroz suspended

Osasuna appear very exciting at the moment but one of their forward talents, Aimar Oroz, is missing through suspension, while Cameroon international centre-back Enzo Boyomo unavailable due to injury, too.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sergio Herrera; Rosier, Alejandro Catena, Jorge Herrando, Javi Galan; Jon Moncayola, Lucas Torro; Iker Munoz, Raul Moro, Victor Munoz; Budimir

Unavailable: Boyomo (Injured), Aimar Oroz (Suspended), Iker Benito (Injured)

Questionable:

Valencia vs Osasuna prediction

Valencia are in a bit of a mess at the moment, albeit they do begin the weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places. Osasuna head to Mestalla in excellent form at the moment, with that victory over Los Blancos having extended their unbeaten run of form to six matches in La Liga – and, in front of a crowd that may well add pressure to the team that they are backing, will be confident of making that seven here.

Valencia vs Osasuna tip: Double chance – Osasuna to win or draw
