US Virgin Islands vs American Samoa prediction
The United States Virgin Islands, coached by Terrence Jones, are one of the lowest ranked teams in the world, alongside American Samoa and Guam, some way behind hosts Puerto Rico ahead of these semi-finals.
The US Virgin Islands most recently succumbed to a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Grenada in November, while the American Samoans haven’t played a FIFA-recognised international since a 2-1 defeat of the Cook Islands in September 2024.
That victory was a major surprise 18 months ago and ended a seven-match losing streak in which they conceded 54 goals. The US Virgin Islands aren’t great shakes, though, and so, while favourites, it is expected to be a lower scoring clash.
