Uganda vs Madagascar prediction

Uganda put in some strong performances in qualification for FIFA World Cup 2026, albeit eventually finishing fairly comfortably in second place behind Algeria. They then endured a tough CAF Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a group stage elimination in the winter, collecting just one point from their three matches.

They now face a Madagascar side that, nicknamed Barea, have started 2026 quite well. After a 5-2 demolition of the Kyrygyz Republic, they then shared a 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea in Antalya in a game in which they were the better of the two sides.

This is expected to be a lower scoring encounter in North Africa, albeit one in which Madagascar will expect to at least avoid defeat.

Uganda vs Madagascar tip: Double chance – Madagascar to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
