Travel Distances 2025-26 – English League One

Here at TSZ we have put together a list of all the travel distances for the 2025-26 English League One season.

The distances have been determined by using the shortest route by road on Google Maps at the time of writing. The mileage shown is for the round-trip from a team's home stadium to the opponent's home stadium, and back again, for all away games in the league campaign. This is strictly a 'by road' analysis, other means of transport (e.g. train) are not considered.

Total distances

• After coming down from the Championship, South-West coast outfit Plymouth top the mileage charts in the 2025-26 League One campaign. They are the only side with an average round-trip of over 500 miles.
• Local Burton fans have it easiest, with supporters of the Brewers averaging just over 200 miles for away league games in 2025-26.

What is the longest away trip in League One?

• With 325 miles separating the University of Bradford Stadium and Home Park, the 650-mile round-trip between Bradford City and Plymouth is the longest in the division.
• Indeed, Plymouth represent the longest away day for all but five of their opponents in the 2025-26 league season.

What is the shortest away trip in League One?

• The shortest trip in League One will be the fixture between Bolton and Wigan, with just 16 miles for a round-trip.
• Local Cardiff fans will have to get used to long journeys, as they don't have any round trips that come under 200 miles.
