Besiktas vs Crystal Palace prediction

After being thrashed 5-0 by bitter rivals Brighton, Pierre Sage’s position as head coach of Crystal Palace is now clearly under threat. The UEFA Conference League champions are currently 14th in the Premier League, whilst they have picked up three points in the Europa League, beating Lech Poznan but most recently losing away at Lyon. This latest assignment is a difficult one for Sage with his players facing a big physical and mental challenge against free-scoring Besiktas.

It's hard enough as a visiting side at such an intimidating environment as Besiktas Stadium and Palace are running into a side who cannot stop finding the net currently in Europe. The hosts have racked up seven goals across two league phase fixtures, both of which ended in wins for Besiktas and when you factor in how bad Palace were defensively at the weekend, the stage is set for another punishing evening, with Besiktas well worth backing to pile on the misery for Sage.
