Here at TSZ we have put together a list of all the travel distances for the 2025-26 National League South season.
The distances have been determined by using the shortest route by road on Google Maps at the time of writing. The mileage shown is for the round-trip from a team's home stadium to the opponent's home stadium, and back again, for all away games in the league campaign. This is strictly a 'by road' analysis, other means of transport (e.g. train) are not considered.
Total distances

- With comfortably the furthest to travel in the National League South (as well as any team in the National League North), Torquay top the distance list with their away league fixtures totalling over 8500 miles.
- At the other end of the spectrum, local Hampton & Richmond fans will have the lowest distance to travel for away league outings in 2025-26.
What is the longest away trip in the National League South?

- The round trip between Dover and Torquay is the only fixture in the 2025-26 National League South season that surpasses 500 miles.
- In fact, a trip to one of those two clubs represents the longest away journey for every single opponent in the division.
What is the shortest away trip in the National League South?

- The fixture between Dagenham & Redbridge and Hornchurch is the shortest in the division, requiring a mere ten-mile round trip.
- By contrast, even local Torquay fans' shortest journey in the league campaign - Weston-super-Mare - will clock in at 156 miles.
