Tottenham team news: Romero still suspended

Cristian Romero is missing through suspension for the final game of his four-match ban and the absence of the Argentine hasn't been too helpful given Spurs' injury crisis.

Djed Spence is the latest to sustain an injury issue, with the England international sidelined for this one but set to be available to face Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League next week.

Predicted XI (3-4-1-2): Vicario; Danso, Dragusin, Van de Ven; Gray, Gallagher, Palhinha, Porro; Simons; Solanke, Richarlison

Unavailable: Romero (Suspended), Davies (Injured), Spence (Injured), Udogie (Injured), Bentancur (Injured), Bergvall (Injured), Maddison (Injured), Kudus (Injured), Kulusevski (Injured), Odobert (Injured)

Crystal Palace team news: Lerma back but Lacroix suspended

In his pre-match press conference, Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Colombia international defensive midfielder Jefferson Lerma will return from injury here but will not start.

However, key centre-back Maxence Lacroix is now missing through suspension for the Eagles, while Jean-Philippe Mateta is expected to return next week.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Henderson; Richards, Riad, Canvot; Munoz, Wharton, Hughes, Mitchell; Sarr, Strand Larsen, Guessand

Unavailable: Lacroix (Suspended), Doucoure (Injured), Mateta (Fitness), Nketiah (Injured)

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace prediction

Igor Tudor is already heavily criticising referees, and his own players, having begun his reign as Tottenham boss with a 4-1 loss to Arsenal in the North London Derby before a 2-1 defeat away at Fulham. Spurs do appear to be in a complete mess at the moment, sitting just four points clear of the bottom three and the relegation places.

Crystal Palace have UEFA Europa Conference League knockout commitments to look forward to in a difficult season that has seen Oliver Glasner almost try to force his way out. Palace did appear as though they may get dragged into the relegation battle but they sit ten points clear of West Ham United ahead of this one.

Crystal Palace will be awkward to play against for a Spurs side lacking quality, confidence and any cohesion whatsoever and so a low-scoring encounter is to be expected here.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace tip: Under 2.5 goals
