Tallon Griekspoor vs Brandon Nakashima prediction

Tallon Griekspoor arrives in Vienna in excellent form after winning the European Open in Brussels last week. That was his first ATP title of 2026 and fourth of his career. The Dutchman produced an impressive run, defeating Jiri Lehecka and Francisco Cerundolo before recovering from a set down to beat Jan-Lennard Struff in the final. Griekspoor also reached the Dubai final in February, although he was forced to withdraw before facing Daniil Medvedev because of a hamstring injury. His Brussels triumph ended a difficult spell and demonstrates his ability to thrive indoors, with his powerful serve and aggressive forehand proving particularly effective.

Brandon Nakashima has enjoyed an impressive 2026, highlighted by reaching his first Masters 1000 final in Montreal. The American has also shown encouraging form during the European indoor swing. He reached the Lyon quarter-finals last week, before losing in three sets to Flavio Cobolli.

The head-to-head is tied at 1-1, though Struff did win their last match at this event last year. Nakashima is generally more consistent from the baseline, but Griekspoor’s greater firepower and renewed confidence make him dangerous.
