Sunderland vs Man Utd prediction

Sunderland are looking like the classic 'on the beach' team right now with their last three league games yielding just one point, which came against relegated side Wolves in a 1-1 draw last weekend.

The Black Cats could still finish in the top half of the table though, and will surely put in a better performance than their last game at the Stadium of Light, when they lost 0-5 to Nottingham Forest.

Man Utd are buoyant after securing UEFA Champions League qualification last time out, defeating north west rivals Liverpool 3-2 at Old Trafford with the aid of a Kobbie Mainoo winner 13 minutes from time.

Michael Carrick's side have now won their last three games and look destined to finish third in the league, with calls to offer the interim boss a permanent position.

Given the contrasting form of the two sides, we're expecting the visitors to continue their good run with a fourth straight victory, further strengthening Carrick's position.

Sunderland vs Man Utd tip: Man Utd to win
