Stuttgart are one of the most entertaining teams in the Bundesliga as they now take on a mid-table Hamburg side as they chase a top four finish.

Stuttgart preview: Steady Stuttgart

Under the management of highly-rated coach Sebastian Hoeness, Stuttgart are one of the best teams to watch as they sit tucked inside the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots ahead of this weekend's round of fixtures.

The hosts did succumb to a tough defeat last weekend, though, as Borussia Dortmund defeated them by two goals to nil at the MHPArena due to second-half stoppage-time strikes from Karim Adeyemi and Julian Brandt.

Hamburg preview: Mid-table Hamburg

Following their long-awaited return to the German top-flight, Hamburg sit tucked firmly in the middle-of-the-table but currently in fairly average form, albeit well clear of imminent danger and any remote relegation trouble.

The visitors come into this one on the back of a steady 1-1 draw with fellow mid-table outfit Augsburg last week, meaning that they have now won just one of their last seven matches in the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart team news: Karazor suspended

Stuttgart midfielder Atakan Karazor is now missing through suspension for Stuttgart this weekend, while Lazar Jovanovic is also a doubt as he deals with a back injury.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Neubel; Jeltsch, Chabot, Hendriks; Assignon, Chema, Stiller, Mittelstadt; Nartey, Fuhrich; Undav

Unavailable: Karazor (Suspended)

Questionable: Jovanovic (Injured)

Hamburg team news: Muheim suspended

Hamburg head to Stuttgart with Miro Muheim now missing through suspension, while experienced former Denmark international attacker Yussuf Poulsen is sidelined alongside Alexander Rossing-Lelesiit.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Fernandes; Omari, Vuskovic, Torunarigha; Mikelbrencis, Sambi Lokonga, Vieira, Gronbaek; Konigsdorffer, Glatzel, Otele

Unavailable: Muheim (Suspended), Rossing-Lelesiit (Injured), Poulsen (Injured)

Questionable: Capaldo (Injured), Jatta (Injured), Dompe (Injured)

Stuttgart vs Hamburg prediction

Stuttgart were good last weekend, even though their game ended in what appeared to be a comfortable defeat. They will be expected to take the initiative and take the game to Hamburg on Sunday afternoon. Hamburg have been generally steady throughout this campaign but Stuttgart will be expected to come through this one quite comfortably, especially with that aforementioned home advantage.

Stuttgart vs Hamburg tip: Stuttgart to win
