Stevenage vs Birmingham prediction

Stevenage come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of relegation-battling Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on Easter Monday courtesy of a 12th minute winner scored by Northern Ireland international striker Jamie Reid. That was just their second victory in their last nine matches in League One.

Birmingham City won the League One title a couple of weeks ago but failed in their pursuit of the lower league double by losing to Peterborough United at Wembley Stadium in the EFL Trophy final. The big spending Blues have been relentless in League One, now just seven points behind the all-time EFL points record with four games to go.

Birmingham, for a team on 99 points after 42 games, haven’t blown as many teams away as one would expect so they should win but it might not be overly thrilling for the neutral.

Stevenage vs Birmingham tip: Birmingham to win & under 3.5 goals
