  • Sierra Leone have lost only one of their last five World Cup qualifying matches (W2 D2).
  • Guinea-Bissau have lost only two of their last 12 World Cup qualifying matches (W4 D6).
  • Guinea-Bissau are unbeaten in their last six World Cup qualifying matches (W1 D5).

Sierra Leone vs Guinea-Bissau Prediction

Sierra Leone have managed a victory with two draws and a defeat in their opening four matches in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification as they now take on a Guinea-Bissau side that are unbeaten with a victory and three draws in their four matches.

Sierra Leone have the likes of Steven Caulker, Juma Bah, Mustapha Bundu, Augustus Kargbo, Amadou Bakayoko and Josh Koroma in their squad. Their 2-0 defeat at home to Zambia in the November international break was their most recent outing and that means they have won just one of their last nine matches across all competitions.

They now face a Guinea-Bissau side that are coached by former Fulham and West Ham United forward Luis Boa Morte. They have collected six points from four matches in qualifying and they remain unbeaten but their impressive defensive record is not going to be enough to chase down a very strong Egypt side at the top of Group A.

This is a game between two seemingly evenly matched sides with strong defensive records so, as a result, a low-scoring encounter would appear a good bet for this one.

Sierra Leone vs Guinea-Bissau Tip: Under 2.5 goals
