Sheffield United vs Millwall prediction

After losing the Championship playoff final, Chris Wilder left Sheffield United over the summer and was replaced by former Hull City boss Ruben Selles. The Blades began with a 4-1 defeat to Bristol City at home before defeats to Birmingham City and then Swansea City in the EFL Cup and the league after that.

They now face a Millwall side that, under the management of Alex Neil, performed well towards the end of last season before missing out on the top six and the playoff places on the final day. After a 2-1 win away at Norwich City on the opening day, the Lions were then hammered 3-0 by Middlesbrough in what was actual quite an even contest.

Millwall will want to put that result at The Den behind them and the Londoners are obdurate and difficult to beat, which is not the type of side that United want to play right now.

Sheffield United vs Millwall tip: Double chance – Millwall to win or draw
