Sevilla vs Espanyol prediction
Relegation is still a very real prospect for Sevilla, but their slender 1-0 victory against Real Sociedad on Monday certainly helped their cause, with veteran Alexis Sanchez scoring the all-important goal early in the second half.
They are at home once again this weekend, where they have generally been solid in recent times, and they would leapfrog their opponents with another three points.
Espanyol's 2026 slump continued with a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid last weekend, extending their winless run since the turn of the year.
Once challenging for a European place, the Catalonians are gradually getting dragged into the relegation battle, and defeat here to a team below them would really get the alarm bells ringing.
Sevilla will fancy the job after their big win on Monday, especially on home turf.
