The Seattle Sounders come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to Minnesota United in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer at the weekend. The Washington-based outfit were humiliated in the group stages of the FIFA Club World Cup but did perform well to finish first in the MLS Group stage of the Leagues Cup.
They face a Puebla side that were beaten 2-0 at home by Atletico San Luis in Liga MX at the weekend, that result coming a week after they had been demolished by seven goals to nil by Tigres UANL in the league the previous week. Puebla have managed just one victory with four defeats in their five Liga MX Apertura matches so far this season.
Puebla look to be in complete disarray on the pitch at the moment, and so siding with a potentially comfortable Seattle Sounders victory would appear a good value bet.
