Scotland vs Iceland prediction

Scotland, who have been woeful at both UEFA EURO 2020 and UEFA EURO 2024, come into this one on the back of being relegated to League B of the UEFA Nations League in March. Having won the first-leg of their playoff in Athens by a goal to nil, Greece then comfortably defeated the Scots by three goals to nil in the second-leg in Glasgow.

They now face an Iceland side that, once again, have some impressive emerging talent such as Hakon Haraldsson and Albert Gudmundsson. The Icelanders most recently suffered a fairly humiliating relegation to League C of the UEFA Nations League with a 5-2 aggregate loss to Kosovo in which they lost the second-leg 3-1 in Reykjavik.

Despite the fact that Scotland aren’t an overly impressive international side, the Tartan Army remain favourites for a game that may well be a tedious watch for the neutral.

Scotland vs Iceland tip: Scotland to win & under 3.5 goals
