San Jose Earthquakes vs LA Galaxy prediction
The San Jose Earthquakes are challenging Vancouver Whitecaps at the top-of-the-table in the Western Conference. They returned from the FIFA World Cup 2026 break with a humiliating hammering, though, despite Timo Werner’s debut, as they succumbed to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Orlando City, with Antoine Griezmann scoring the Floridians third the other day.
Los Angeles Galaxy, who have just announced the signing of Kyogo Furuhashi from Birmingham City, sit outside of the top nine and the play-off places ahead of this one. They, too, succumbed to a hefty defeat in midweek as they were beaten 3-1 by St Louis City at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson.
San Jose will fancy themselves to get back on track here but neither side will be brimming with confidence and so a lower-scoring affair seems a decent bet.
