Qatar vs Zimbabwe prediction

Under the management of former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Julen Lopetegui, the Qatari national team have already confirmed qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They have made a few changes for this one as they prepare for next month’s 2025 FIFA Arab Cup. The Qataris still have quite a strong side, albeit the likes of Karim Boudiaf, Abdulaziz Hatem, captain Hassan Al Haydos, Akram Afif, Almoez Ali and Sebastian Soria are not involved.

The Zimbabweans come into this one on the back of a very poor CAF qualifying campaign for the tournament, and they were most recently hammered 3-1 by Algeria.

Qatar may be experimenting a bit ahead of next month but they are still the comfortable favourites against a poor Zimbabwean side this week.
