Peter Bosz remains in charge of a PSV side that have dominated the Eredivisie for the last three seasons. They have lost key man Ismael Saibari over the summer to Bayern Munich but their marquee addition has been AZ key man Sven Mijnans.
AZ endured a tough campaign in the Eredivisie as they finished seventh in the table but qualified for the group stages of the UEFA Europa League as a result of winning the KNVB Cup, defeating NEC Nijmegen in the final back in mid-April.
AZ need a major turnaround over the summer to be more competitive in the league and it is a tough start to something of a restart with PSV expected to get their 2026-27 campaign off to a flyer at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.
