Portugal are a very good side with good players but they head into this on the back of some poor results as they now take on a poor Armenia side in Lisbon.

Portugal vs Armenia prediction

Portugal should have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup last summer but they blew it by conceding a last minute equaliser against Hungary. That was then further delayed the other day as Roberto Martinez suffered a shock 2-0 loss to Ireland with captain Cristiano Ronaldo sent off in the second-half.

They now face an Armenia side that have sunk to being one of the weakest sides once again in European international football. The Armenians come into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Hungary, meaning they have lost four of their qualifiers in Group F of UEFA qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With their home advantage and a desperate need for a reaction, and perhaps a bit more fluency without the aforementioned Cristiano Ronaldo and therefore a comfortable Portuguese victory is to be expected.

Portugal vs Armenia tip: Portugal to win -2 handicap
