Peshawar Zalmi vs Islamabad United prediction

Peshawar Zalmi come into this one on the back of a 64-run loss to the Quetta Gladiators in their most recent outing at the weekend. In their six matches, Peshawar have only scored above 147 on just one occasion in this campaign when they struck 227-7 against the Multan Sultans a couple of weeks ago in a 120-run rout against the rock-bottom Sultans.

Islamabad United had begun their campaign with five successive victories but they now come into this one on the back of a defeat, hammered by 88 runs by Lahore Qalandars the other day in a game in which they conceded 209-6 in the Qalandars’ 20 overs before then being bowled out for just 121 in 16.5 overs.

Peshawar Zalmi appear to be a generally weak side at the moment, particularly with the bat, and they now come up against an Islamabad side that need to bounce back and will be determined to do so.
