New Zealand vs India prediction

While New Zealand didn’t do too much wrong in the first T20 international between these two nations after putting 225 runs on the board for the loss of just four wickets batting first. However, India were brilliant in response, as the top order gave them a platform and the lower order came through. Naman Dhir was the hero, with an unbeaten 42 from just 15 balls helping India get over the line with two balls to spare.

We mentioned that New Zealand might begin this series rusty, having not played much T20 international cricket of late, and that proved to be the case, with the bowlers delivering 16 wides. Expect them to tighten up significantly this time around and produce a better all-round performance with the ball, which may be what edges things the Black Caps’ way. After falling behind, it’s worth backing New Zealand to respond well and level things up.
