Afghanistan vs Bangladesh prediction
These two teams have performed on opposite ends of the scale during this tri-series. Whilst Afghanistan have been excellent, dismantling Zimbabwe by 158 runs on Monday, it’s been a very different story for Bangladesh. The Tigers looked completely out of sorts at the weekend and were duly punished by Zimbabwe, losing their match by a pitiful 99 runs.
The biggest gulf in class that we’ve seen so far has been with the bat. Afghanistan looked very good from a batting perspective, controlled, yet aggressive when needed with some impressive stroke-play. Bangladesh though, showed a brittle spine, unable to pace an innings and losing key wickets at bad times. It’s the batting that should prove the difference here and leads us to back Afghanistan.
