Ireland will be looking to get back on track in ODI cricket after being beaten comprehensively at home by Afghanistan in their last 50-over series. Namibia, meanwhile, were outclassed and heavily defeated by South Africa in a three-game series last month, but have recently performed well against USA in ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, winning two of three games.

Conditions are expected to be extremely hot in Namibia, which understandably favours the hosts. The Irish players will need to adapt to the weather, and that won’t be easy both at the crease and in the field.
