Parma, under the management of Mikel Arteta's former assistant coach Carlos Cuesta, have been steady throughout the campaign and they earned another hard-fought win last week as they defeated Udinese by a goal to nil, courtesy of a second-half winner scored by Nesta Elphege.
They now face a Pisa side that have struggled throughout the campaign as they sit rock-bottom with just two victories in their 33 matches in Serie A so far this season. The Tuscans were beaten 2-1 by Genoa at Arena Garibaldi in their most recent outing.
Pisa have had spells of stubbornness this season and this is expected to be a low-scoring clash but one in which Parma should still come out on top.
