Papua New Guinea vs New Caledonia prediction
Papua New Guinea started their MSG Prime Minister’s Cup campaign with a late come from behind 2-1 defeat of Vanuatu in their opener before and they will fancy themselves to be perhaps the favourites given New Caledonia’s opening result.
New Caledonia, who finished second in Oceanian qualification for FIFA World Cup 2026 and played in the Inter-Confederation Play-offs in March, succumbed to a shock 2-0 defeat to the Solomon Islands at the weekend.
New Caledonia will need a response here and PNG were hardly dominant against Vanuatu so it may well be a decent value bet to side with the New Caledonians.
