Pakistan vs Bangladesh prediction

It’s hardly ideal for Bangladesh to be taking to the field again in Dubai with such a short turnaround following their game against India on Wednesday. In such a high-intensity environment, not to mention a tournament of extreme importance, the likelihood of this benefitting the Tigers is small, particularly from a bowling perspective when considering the efforts that they are putting in.

Pakistan meanwhile, have had more of a rest after playing their last match on Tuesday, securing a vital five-wicket win over Sri Lanka. We mentioned in our preview of that game then when their backs are against the wall, you usually see the best of Pakistan whenever they compete in a major international tournament and this appears to be no exception.

Expect Pakistan’s bowlers to really attack Bangladesh with pace, hunting down wickets at every opportunity through the likes of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf. Key for Pakistan with the bat will be discipline, not throwing their wickets away. They should have the quality to navigate what the Tigers throw at them with the ball and so backing a Pakistan victory is well worth considering.
