Pafos vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv prediction

The last few years has seen money pour into Cypriot club football, and that was best shown last season. Pafos played their part in that as they reached the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League before going on to win their first ever Cypriot First Division title a year after winning their first ever major honour with the Cypriot Cup.

They now face a Maccabi Tel-Aviv side that still managed to win the Israeli Premier League last season, despite manager Robbie Keane departing mid-way through the second-half of the campaign for Hungarian champions Ferencvaros. Keane has been replaced by Zarko Lazetic.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv will have it tough having to play all games away from home, but they should still put up some fight in attack and it could be entertaining in this first-leg.

Pafos vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv tip: Over 2.5 goals
