Pafos vs Djurgarden Prediction

As mentioned, Pafos pulled off a victory last month against Omonia Nicosia, defeating their compatriots by three goals to two on aggregate with a 2-1 win at home in the second-leg. They now face a Djurgarden side that haven’t played competitive football since mid-December.

Pafos come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat in the league against the aforementioned Omonia Nicosia just a week after they had defeated APOEL by two goals to nil. They remain at the top-of-the-table domestically and did rotate a fair bit in that game against Omonia ahead of facing Djurgarden this weekend.

Djurgarden, under the management of Jani Honkavaara, have been playing in the group stages of the Svenska Cupen in the last couple of weeks but don’t begin the 2025 Allsvenskan season until late-March. They finished in the top eight of the UEFA Europa Conference League, finishing the league phase with victories against The New Saints and Legia Warsaw.

Given the fact Djurgarden are effectively in pre-season, siding with Pafos looks the way to go for this one, especially with the Cypriot side having home advantage in this one.

Pafos vs Djurgarden Tip: Double chance – Pafos to win or draw
