Nottingham Forest vs Brighton Prediction
Nuno Espirito Santo has discussed his want for Nottingham Forest to bolster their squad before the January transfer window deadline on Monday and his argument may well have been supported last week. Forest, who remain in an excellent position to achieve a top four or five finish and potential UEFA Champions League qualification, were beaten 5-0 by Bournemouth last week thanks to a Dango Ouattara hat-trick as well as goals from Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo. They now face a Brighton and Hove Albion side that showed their mid-table inconsistencies last week as they backed up a 3-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford by losing 1-0 at home to Everton at the AMEX Stadium last week due to a first-half penalty scored by Iliman Ndiaye. These two played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the AMEX in September with Forest’s counter-attacking style and Brighton wanting to dominate possession a good clash of styles for the neutral so both teams scoring once again seems a good bet for this one at the City Ground.
