Coached by Darren Lehmann, the Northamptonshire Steelbacks have some impressive white-ball specialists for this season with captain David Willey supported by Chris Lynn at the top of the order and, eventually, Yuzvendra Chahal, in the spin department.

Glamorgan will have Fazalhaq Farooqi ready to go with the Afghanistan international seamer a really good shout for the leading wicket-taker in the Blast. The Welsh outfit have some natural firepower, too, with the likes of Colin Ingram, Asa Tribe and Billy Root.

These are two decent underdogs to back for the Blast this season but siding with the better bowling attack of Glamorgan, or at least with Farooqi, may be a reasonable bet.
