Having reached the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, Armenian champions Noah began the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League campaign with a thrilling and typically entertaining two-legged defeat of Buducnost Podgorica in the first qualifying round, with a 1-0 win at home and then a 2-2 draw in Montenegro.
They now face Hungarian champions Ferencvaros that, were underwhelming last season eventually lost manager Pascal Jensen to New York City in late-December, replaced by then Maccabi Tel-Aviv boss and former Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane, who did manage to guide them to their 36th Hungarian title.
Robbie Keane’s style of play appears to be one of progression and proactivity, and up against an entertaining and open Noah side, both teams scoring seems a good bet.
