New York Red Bulls vs Charlotte prediction

The New York Red Bulls come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to the Philadelphia Union in their most recent outing in Pennsylvania in midweek. They had gone into MLS’ FIFA World Cup 2026 break on the back of a four-match unbeaten run of form.

Charlotte returned from the break with an entertaining but frustrating 2-2 draw, having led by two goals to nil at half time in that game. That comes after they head headed into the break on the back of defeating both Toronto FC and then the New England Revolution in May.

Charlotte will be frustrated by their midweek collapse but they will still be heading into this with more confidence than NYRB and should be the team to be sided with at the Sports Illustrated Stadium.

New York Red Bulls vs Charlotte tip: Double chance – Charlotte to win or draw
