Montreal vs Inter Miami prediction

Montreal have collected just 15 points from their 17 matches as they sit third-from-bottom in the Eastern Conference. In midweek, the Canadians succumbed to a slender 1-0 loss to Eastern Conference leaders Nashville in Tennessee, with former Nottingham Forest striker Sam Surridge scoring the only goal of the game mid-way through the second half from the penalty spot.

Without the likes of Rodrigo De Paul and Lionel Messi, Inter Miami managed to overcome Chicago Fire, with their new signing Robert Lewandowski, by three goals to two at the Nu Stadium. A disastrous error from goalkeeper Rocco Rios Novo helped give Chicago the lead but a Luis Suarez brace inspired the Floridians to an entertaining win on the same day that they announced the signing of Casemiro on a free transfer.

Inter Miami should have Casemiro in the squad for this one but will remain without both De Paul and Messi. There will be immense belief and confidence from the other night and now, against much weaker opposition, they should build on that.
