Minnesota United endured a tough midweek as they succumbed to a 2-1 loss to a struggling Sporting Kansas City side, meaning that they are now clinging onto ninth spot ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
The Vancouver Whitecaps have been extremely impressive throughout the campaign as they begin the weekend sitting at the top-of-the-table in the Western Conference with ten victories and two draws in their 15 matches so far this season.
