We have another Scandinavian derby in Europe this season as Danish Superliga outfit Midtjylland take on Kuopion Palloseura in the UEFA Europa League this midweek.

Midtjylland vs KuPS prediction
In the third qualifying round, Midtjylland defeated fellow Scandinavians Fredrikstad by five goals to one on aggregate. The Danes most recently defeated Velje by two goals to nil in the league at the weekend, meaning that they are now unbeaten in their last 16 matches across all competitions.
KuPS began their European campaign with a defeat of Milsami Orhei in the UEFA Champions League before they then suffered a shock turnaround to Kairat. In this competition last season, they saw off Latvian champions Rigas Futbola Skola by three goals to one on aggregate.
KuPS have been strong in Europe this season, but especially with home advantage, and Midtjylland would have to be seen as favourites for this first-leg in Denmark.
