Metz vs Lorient prediction
Metz' relegation to the second tier was confirmed last weekend following their 1-2 defeat to Monaco, although they have been destined for the drop for some time and it had been awhile since they held any hope of remaining in the division.
Since taking the reigns in January, Benoit Tavenot has been unable to improve their fortunes. Indeed, they are yet to record a single victory under his tenure.
Lorient twice fought from behind to earn an admirable draw against Paris Saint-Germain last Saturday, and they have a top-half finish within their sights - an excellent achievement for a side in their first season back in the top flight.
Both these sides came from the second tier with hopes of establishing themselves in Ligue 1, but only Lorient have managed that, and we expect them to underline their superiority here.
