Marseille preview: Brilliant Marseille
Olympique de Marseille, with former Brighton and Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi at the helm, begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just a point behind Paris Saint-Germain at the top of the Ligue 1 table after seven matches.
The southerners headed into the October international break on the back of a 3-0 demolition of Metz away from home, courtesy of second-half goals from Igor Paixao, Matt O’Riley and Amine Gouiri at Stade Saint-Symphorien.
Le Havre preview: Struggling Metz
In each of the last two seasons, Le Havre have been battling against the drop before narrowly avoiding the drop on both occasions, but it does appear likely to be yet another relegation battle this season.
That is because they have managed just one win in their opening seven matches in Ligue 1. Le Havre most recently extended their drawing streak to three matches with a 2-2 stalemate at Stade Oceane against Stade Rennais a couple of weeks ago.

Marseille vs Le Havre prediction
Marseille have such an abundance of attacking quality with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang having not been a guaranteed starter throughout the campaign. Le Havre play quite a proactive style of football but they lack the quality to get themselves over the line in more games than not. With the depth they have and their form before the break, Marseille have to be viewed as firm favourites at Stade Velodrome.
