Mamelodi Sundowns vs AS FAR prediction
Since winning their first ever African trophy in 2016, the Mamelodi Sundowns have reached three semi-finals and three quarter-finals before being runners’ up last year. The South Africans edged past Esperance de Tunis in the semi-final last month.
They now face an AS FAR side that most recently entertainingly defeated HUSA by three goals to two last week, extending their unbeaten run of form to six matches since losing 1-0 to RS Berkane in the second-leg of their CAF Champions League semi-final
AS FAR will be wary of this first-leg in Tshwane down in South Africa and so siding with Mamelodi, especially with home advantage, would seem a reasonable shout for this one.
