Mallorca vs Villarreal prediction

Martin Demichelis is squeezing everything out of this Mallorca side right now, with their most recent fixture against Girona last Friday resulting in a 0-1 victory, Samu Costa scoring the only goal of the game just before half-time.

They are very much still involved in the multi-team battle to avoid relegation, but ten points gained from the last 15 available has given them a strong chance of survival.

Third-placed Villarreal are apparently ending the season with a flourish despite having had one foot in next season's UEFA Champions League for some time now, and that is now a mathematical certainty following their 5-1 hammering of Levante last weekend.

It remains to be seen whether they finally ease off the gas now, but the likelihood is that they continue to play with the freedom that has got them to where they are.

Mallorca, though, are looking well-drilled right now, and given that Villarreal have conceded in each of their last ten matches, both teams to score looks on here.
