Lincoln Red Imps vs Crvena Zvezda prediction

In the first qualifying round of this season’s UEFA Champions League, the Lincoln Red Imps produced a 4-2 aggregate defeat of Faroese champions Vikingur Gota last week. They defeated Vikingur by three goals to two in the first-leg up in the Faroe Islands, before then defeating them by a goal to nil last week in the second-leg at home.

They now face a Red Star Belgrade side that, under the management of Vladan Milojevic, have earned a now record 36-league titles in Serbia. The 1991 European champions have perhaps been a little underwhelming in Europe in recent seasons, but they remain one of the biggest clubs at this stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Lincoln Red Imps’ European pedigree has been much-improved in recent seasons, but it remains the case that the Serbians are firm favourites for this one in Gibraltar.
