Maurizio Sarri and his Lazio side head into this one on the back of a dramatic penalty shootout defeat of Atalanta in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia the other day. The Romans have now succumbed to just one defeat in their last eight matches across all competitions.
They now face an Udinese side that, under the management of former Legia Warsaw boss Kosta Runjaic, have once again established themselves firmly in the middle-of-the-table. The Friulians are seeking to finish with a flourish, albeit did lose 1-0 against Parma in a game that was very much for the purist at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine.
Udinese have had a habit of coasting towards the end of seasons and so siding with Lazio would appear the way to go for this one in the capital city.
