LAFC vs Sporting KC prediction
Having failed to score this season before the break for FIFA World Cup 2026, Korea Republic captain Son Heung-min got off the mark in midweek as LAFC defeated Real Salt Lake by three goals to one, with Denis Bouanga also scoring as well as a DeAndre Yedlin own goal before former Middlesbrough man Lukas Engel scored a consolation for RSL late on.
Sporting KC have endured a tough 2026 Western Conference campaign as they sit rock-bottom with just four victories and 14 points collected in their 16 matches. They did manage to earn themselves a much-needed but slender 2-1 defeat of Minnesota United in their most recent outing in midweek.
While SKC may take some confidence from that one, this does appear to be a bit of a mis-match and LAFC should win comfortably at the BMO Stadium.
