KKR begin their seventh game of the 2026 IPL season sitting rock-bottom. Their most recent outing saw them succumb to a five-wicket loss to the Gujarat Titans the other day in a bit of a nail-biter undone for the Knight Riders by an impressive 86 hit by Shubman Gill.

Rajasthan Royals come into this one on the back of a hammering at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad, losing by 57 runs after conceding 216 in their Sunrisers’ 20 overs. That followed on from a four-match winning streak to kick off their campaign.

Despite their heavy defeat the other day, the Royals will still be expected to come out on top here in Kolkata against what is once again a poor KKR side this season.
