King Green: 38-year-old vet coming off submission loss to Paddy the Baddy
King Green (32-16-1 with one no contest), formerly known as Bobby Green, comes into this bout at UFC 313 needing a victory in what will be the 51st fight of his professional MMA career. Green has won just three of his last eight fights in the Octagon but each one of those has come against fighters at the back end of their careers such as Tony Ferguson and Jim Miller. When he has come up against younger and talented opponents, he has found the going itself and that is exactly what he will face in Ruffy.

Mauricio Ruffy (11-1) came through Dana White's Contender Series in October 2023 with a victory over Raimond Magomedaliev. Since then, he produced a first-round TKO of Jamie Mullarkey at UFC 301, before following that up with a win against James Llontop at UFC 309 in November. That takes the Brazilian 28-year-old’s record to eleven wins and one loss with ten of those victories coming by knockout.

We have a couple of bouts on the main card at UFC 313 that feature an experienced UFC veteran against a rising star and this is one of them.
King Green has found the going tough in the last few years and that is no surprise at the age of 38. He comes up against a really tough and impressive fighter who is ten years younger than him.
Ruffy looks like he has plenty more development to come but he already looks like an incredibly dangerous fighter.
The Brazilian has excellent knockout power with all but one of his 11 victories coming by way of knockout. With Green having suffered five knockout losses throughout his career and three of those coming in the last three years, there is every chance that his decreasing punch resistance will be tested severely once again.
