Juventus preview: In-form Juve

Juventus come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of Atalanta at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo last weekend, courtesy of a 48th minute winner scored by Ivory Coast international attacker Jeremie Boga.

The Bianconeri begin the 33rd match day of the 2025/26 Serie A campaign sitting tucked inside the top four and just two points ahead of Como as they welcome Bologna to Piedmont.

Bologna preview: Frustrated Bologna

Bologna were hammered 4-0 by Aston Villa in midweek due to goals scored by Ollie Watkins, Morgan Rogers, Ezri Konsa and Emi Buendia as they succumbed to a 7-1 aggregate loss in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League.

Bologna have discovered some form in Serie A of late as they head into this one on the back of three victories in their last four matches, having enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Lecce at the Renato Dall’Ara last week.

Juventus team news: Yildiz a doubt

Versatile Turkey international attacker Kenan Yildiz is a doubt for Juve this weekend, while Vasilje Adzic and Juan Cabal are also potentially unavailable.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Bremer, Kelly; Holm, Thuram, Locatelli, Cambiaso; Conceicao, Boga; David

Bologna team news: A few doubts

Bologna are dealing with a few injury doubts for this one as goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski is potentially sidelined alongside defender Elvind Helland and versatile attacker Thijs Dallinga.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pessina; Joao Mario, Casale, Jhon Lucumi, Juan Miranda; Freuler, Moro; Orsolini, Sohm, Cambiaghi; Castro

Unavailable: Dominguez (Injured)

Questionable: Skorupski (Injured), Helland (Injured), Dallinga (Injured)

Juventus vs Bologna prediction

Juventus are in excellent form. Their victory against the Bergamasci last weekend means that they are now unbeaten in their last seven matches across all competitions. They now face a Bologna side that have also been in good form themselves and they will fancy their chances of scoring in Turin. However, Juve remain the firm favourites for this one.

Juventus vs Bologna tip: Juventus to win & both teams to score
