Israel vs Estonia Prediction

At youth levels, Israel have been improving and they have been a team recently promoted, albeit immediately automatically relegated from, League A of the UEFA Nations League. Estonia remain a fairly poor and limited side in terms of European international football.

Under the management of Ran Ben Shimon, ‘The Chosen Team’, as they are nicknamed, did manage to pull off an upset in their most recent outing, defeating Belgium by a goal to nil in Hungary thanks to an 86th minute winner scored by Yarden Shua. That was their only victory of a tough UEFA Nations League campaign which also featured Italy and France.

They now face an Estonia side that most recently completed their UEFA Nations League League C campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Slovakia at Stadion Antona Malatinskeho in Bratislava during the November international break with a 72nd minute winner scored by David Strelec. The Estonians avoided rock-bottom in League C but only narrowly above Azerbaijan.

Israel do not have home advantage and did suffer a bit in the autumn but they would have to be viewed as the firm favourites for this one to begin FIFA World Cup qualification with a victory.
