In the first-leg of this UEFA Champions League first qualifying round tie last week, FCSB defeated Inter Club d’Escaldes by three goals to one at Stadionul Steaua in the Romanian capital. They took a 37th minute lead via David Miculescu, before Darius Olaru and Marius Stefanescu made it 3-0 to the Romanians, with Rafinha getting a consolation goal for the Andorrans mid-way through the second-half.

Inter Club d’Escaldes were always expected to struggle but a 3-1 defeat is probably quite satisfying for them against such tough opposition. FCSB, the artist formerly known as Steaua, will expect to be in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League at least.

FCSB didn’t run rampant in their first-leg last week, but they still won with a comfortable margin, and that is expected to be the case once again in this second-leg.
